Obnoxious Sports!  In spite of getting cut from the Ravens yesterday ESPN will have Trent Richardson on for an exclusive interview.  Richardson will appear on E:60 tonight at 10pm EST with Shelley Smith.  An in-depth interview with the running on being cut from LA and working his way back into the league with Baltimore to only be waived again.  The NFL is tough and Trent is a tough running back that is will to prove he has what it takes to play in the NFL.  The interview with also feature Trent’s best friend Agnew Hall and the great support system he has provided Trent to control press forward and make his dream come true.  Hill is also a Alabama graduate and continued his family business started by his grandfather.  Watch tonight how the owner of Ezells Seafood and Trent Richardson make a tough combination and will not stop until Richardson is a starting player in the league.

Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh said recently waived running back Trent Richardson has a chance to return to the team and passionately defended the former No. 3 overall pick against harsh criticism.

“I guess I’ll get on my soapbox here because I’m allowed to, [but] it’s amazing to me the vitriol and really the hate that people want to put out,” Harbaugh said Wednesday. “He’s done nothing wrong. He’s still trying very hard. He’s just a young guy who is trying his best to make it in the league.”

Richardson, who was selected behind Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III in 2012, is considered one of the biggest busts in the past decade. He was out of football last season and was on his fourth team in four seasons.

“Because he was a top pick, I know it definitely comes with more scrutiny,” Harbaugh said. “Certainly, he understands that and he handles it really well. He’s a good person. He wants to do well. He’s a hard worker. There is a possibility that some time, some way, some fashion that he could come back here or somewhere else in the league.”

On Tuesday the Ravens released Richardson off the physically unable to perform list. He hadn’t practiced in training camp after getting his knee scoped last month. He went unclaimed on waivers.

Baltimore needed to add a running back because it was down to just three healthy ones with Justin Forsett, Buck Allen and Terrance West. The Ravens signed journeyman running back Stephen Houston on Wednesday.

“With Trent, it was strictly health,” Harbaugh said. “We knew the knee was a problem when we first brought him in. We were hopeful that he would work through it. But we just couldn’t wait any longer. We need the running back. We need the bodies out there practicing.”

Richardson was considered a long shot to make the Ravens this season. He was last on the depth chart behind five other running backs. His career average is 3.3 yards per carry.

informing Richardson of his release, both Harbaugh and general manager Ozzie Newsome spoke to him.

Trent has an opportunity to come back in the future,” Harbaugh said. “So he’s definitely on our radar.”

While in Birmingham yours truly got the opportunity to meet two of Trent Richardson’s good friends Blake Sims, first African American Quater Back for the University of Alabama and Agnew Hall, owner Ezells Seafood.  Take it from me the food is great!

Here is a little Obnoxious Note:  Blake Sims is the grandson of Madam Joyce Richardson, owner of the MADD Hatter Boutique in Atlanta.
