The last time we saw any pictures of Kerry Washington with her husband Nnamdi Asomugha, they were at Disneyland last year, holding hands, looking very much in love. So rumors circulating of possible marital trouble between the two confuses many of us. But they’re there nonetheless.
It all started when news came out that the two listed their home in the Hollywood Hills recently, which sold within days. They bought the home just last year, but they do have another home in Manhattan Beach (still California).
And then sources started reaching out to the tabloids, including In Touch and Life & Style, to say that the two haven’t been talking, she’s fed up with him not working after leaving the NFL, he’s disappointed with her for giving up on them, and so on and so forth. But the couple, who married on the low in 2013, hushed all rumors by stepping out together at the Kennedy Center Honors in D.C. the first weekend of December. In front of cameras. Something they rarely do.
Who knows what’s really going on behind closed doors (and after Halle and Olivier split, we don’t know what to believe anymore), but we hope all is well with this couple. Because they are one lovely pair.
