According to Gospel Artist Tasha Cobbs Instagram, she has married Kenneth Leonard today. Congrats to the happy couple! Check out the beautiful photos below:

The Grammy winning songtress and music producer Kenneth Leonard swapped vows in a surprise ceremony.

The Grammy winning Gospel singer and Leonard swapped vows over the weekend in the presence of family and friends. 
According to Atlanta radio station, V-103, guests thought they were attending a private dinner party but much to their surprise, they were actually witnesses to a very special union. 
Best known for her song “Break Every Chain,” which earned her a Grammy for Best Gospel/Comtemporary Christian Music Performance in 2014, Cobbs shared photos from her surprise nuptials on Instagram.
With their union, Cobb becomes step mother to Leonard’s three children and the songstress shared her joy of her blended family posting a sweet photo.

Well you may recall the Internet going in to a firestorm over the man from Alabama that contacted Tasha to see about her coming to his church to perform and he was quoted a $20,000 honorarium.  In care you forgot we have posted the original story for your review below:

However the behavior at the surprise invitation only event was not that of someone comanding a $20,000 fee schedule.  In fact it appeared a little low budget.  The groom did not even have on a tuxedo to say the least and for her to be a Grammy winner why no live band, but a DJ was rather cheap.  Live band at the reception and DJ at the Afterparty if you must.  Not to mention the secular choice of music and dancing and wilding out was not exactly the behavior expected of a Gospel Artist even if it was on your special day.  Isaac Carree, Pheadra Parks, and of course her pastor, William Murphy were all present dancing and singing.  Sleaze Bag Convicted Felon James Fortune was in the mist and even rapped, which might not be a bad idea for him since his lifestyle is one far more inline with a gangster rapper than Gospel Artist.  Now some sources close to Tasha are saying this might have been what the old Saints would call a shotgun wedding, but only time will tell.

 Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……I know I am late on this one! It was not that I was not aware, but just so busy I had not had an opportunity to post as much as I would like to my blog. However it seems that once social media was buzzing about Tasha Cobbs, and this time it’s not a spiritual buzz. Instead, it’s over the cost of securing the Grammy Award Winning Artist for a concert. The internet went absolutely “Apes and Bananas” with comments and shares of the original post citing a convo about a conversation held with Tasha’s booking agent until I wanted to bring it to the attention of the readers of Obnoxious to see what you all thoughts were on the subject.
Many supporters, perhaps those who are familiar with the “ins and outs” of the industry and her fan base are rushing to the defense of the gospel performing artist regarding the cost to secure her for a show. The industry requires a lot of work from the artist and Tasha is not simply a worship leader but an artist with a brand and to help build that brand, she must employ a team and guess what?!! Her team has to be paid too! Or at least that is the lie they are telling people rationalize the hunk and a chuck required to get her to perform. That’s what the industry peeps are saying to those who simply don’t understand why the charge for 60 minutes is a whopping $20,0000 dollars.

However, it is pointed out that Tasha isn’t just a local gospel sensation, but an international artist. Warning is given to those who are just beginning to blaze the trails to take caution with commentary because they will want someone to support their brand if they should ever reach the level of excellence that Tasha Cobbs has been blessed to obtain or the level that she thinks she has obtained. I only know one song at it was only decent in my book compaired to so other artist out there.  

In all curiosity, is 20K for a Grammy Award winning artist too much for a concert? Many commenters on the original post seemed to find it hilarious to say the least. Some joked about the cost, while others were so busy laughing at the post made by the guy on Facebook that they didn’t seem to care what she charged but only wanted to express the depth of humor they found in his post. Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Congratulations to Dr. James Proctor, who has won the majority vote of the fellow pastors in Louisiana First Juridiction.  It seems that Bishop Winbush might have changed his mind and wanted his son-in-law to get the jurisdiction after all, but it was to late.  Gatlin could never win the vote of a polling of the men, which is why Bishop Winbush should have passed the torch to him the way W. W. Hamilton did with Bullock.  The only thing worst then a church fight is a family feud and it seems the Old Man and Gatlin settled their differences to late.  Now it remains to be seen what other changes will be made in the leadership of Louisiana first.  Gatlin and that basterd baby by that white woman came back to hunt him.  We knew about the details early on but did not want to post a story until after the men of the jurisdiction voted.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Well, I said I wasn’t going to tell nobody, but I couldn’t keep it to myself.  Wednesday Morning  bright and early my phone started jumping off the hook with text messages, emails, and social media inbox messages about James Hall.  It was said that it was a photo of the Gospel Music Artist in bed with a naked man.  Half sleep I sat straight up in the bed in shock.  Half sleep it seemed to take me forever to unlock my cell to check my text messages only to be greatly disappointed appointed and relieved that if was not as incriminating as it sounded.  Come to find out the man in the picture with no shirt is Bishop Jeffery Thomas from North Carolina, who is like a brother to James and took the picture himself and posted it to Instagram.  After it created a firestorm Bishop Thomas removed the picture not as an admission of guilt, but to shut the mouth of the haters.  It is unfortunate that we live in such a day where so many inappropriate things are taking place in chuch and among the leadership that we question and second guess everything.

James Hall issued a statement via his Facebook page at our advise here at Obnoxious Media to put all the talk and rumors to rest.   Now trust us it it was more to thus photo then two buddies horseplaying we would be on the story like white on rice.  Obnoxious Media has exposed a number of Gospel Artist and Preachers, Pastors, and Bishops behaving badly to know if it was more to thus situation.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Tegna’s new show BOLD (Broadcast Online Live Daily) will replace the group’s Jackass T.D. Jakes wannabe talk show on Tegna-owned stations this fall.  What made them think that people wanted to sit and listen let alone look at ugly fat ass Jakes on a daily basis.  He looks ridiculous with his fat belly almost touching the floor trying to interview someone.  Jakes said he was called to be a preacher then be one and stop trying to be a celebrity and get that lie gap fixed.

“We are really proud of T.D. Jakes,” said Bob Sullivan, Tegna senior VP of programming. “The economics of daytime, not Jakes or the quality of the show itself, is what has taken us out of play for the second season, which is frustrating.”
Bob Sullivan tried to dress it up, but we know it was a damn flop, total waste of time and money.  He thought he could use his popularity in church to translate over to secular TV and it did not work.  God is letting these folks know to stay in thier lane and go back to what is supposed to be their first love.  Jakes get back in your pulpit and preach the Gospel and stop trying to be a motivational speaker reciting those feel good messages your team of speech writers are preparing for you.

T.D. Jakes will finish airing this season on stations before they totally pull the plug.  The Black Pope could not make it work and was not appealing enough for television on a daily basises.  this is the second time he tried this so hopefully he has learned his lesson by now.  If not let’s help tell is fat ass that we do not want to hear of see him do anything but preach if that and to much of the Jakes gravy goes all over your plate.  He would have been better off investing that money on weight loss surgery and some porcelain veneers then a failed talk show.

Meanwhile, Tegna and partner MGM are out in the market shopping BOLD to station groups. The show’s name is going to change before it premieres this fall, said Sullivan.

The half-hour strip will be produced at Tegna’s KUSA Denver as a running live news feed, so that stations in any time zone can pick it up on the half-hour and get the most up-to-date stories. Each episode will be continually produced and updated throughout the day with subscribing stations tapping into whichever live feed fits their time period.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Bishop Neal Ellis, who eulogized Eddie Long at the close of his sermon begged for the world to finally let his friend Rest In Peace, but not so.  This scandal seems to have increased in his death.  No one feels like there has been closer which is why people are still digging for answers.  Eddie under guise of faith lied and pretended his reality and scandal was not real.  His chuch and supporters allowed him to live in that delusion and confusion rather then getting ahead of the story and being done with it.  Like yesterday I remember going to view the remains of Eddie Long.  It was almost like there was no choice in the matter to actually go and seen him stretched out and dead.  Finally to see Eddie Long dead after all the hurt and pain that he caused and then to insult the world’s intelligence to act as if the allegations against him had no basis.  He may never Rest In Peace as a result of his own doing.  The Right Revered Eddie Long lied to the bitter end and to the ones that loved him the most, his congregation.

Bishop Eddie Long died on January 15, 2017 at the age of 63 because of an aggressive cancer. He was the pastor of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Georgia. Just a few months after his death and burial, he is back in the news again. This time it is because at his funeral, the Alpha Kappa Psi, Inc. presented him posthumously with the highest honor of the organization. Now, members of the organization are having second thoughts and want the #Laurel Wreath pin returned, according to “All Christian News” on March 13.

Long was initiated into the #Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. on April 13, 1974 at North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina. He was a member of the Decatur, Georgia Alumni Chapter at the time of his death. Many members of the fraternity attended his funeral in January. After a heart-warming speech and a special march, a member of the fraternity presented the Laurel Wreath pin to Long’s widow, Vanessa, to honor her deceased husband. Now, members of the fraternity claim the late bishop didn’t live a life that was worthy of the honor.

At the funeral, Thomas Battles, Jr., a Kappa member, said Long was the ideal Kappa man. Apparently, the gesture was not properly thought out beforehand. The pin award is the highest honor a Kappa member can receive. Civil rights advocate Dr. Leon Sullivan and tennis great Arthur Ashe are two people known to have also received the Laurel Wreath pin.

A couple of months after Long’s death and funeral, his honor is being disputed. South Carolina State Representative Cezar McKnight says Long wasn’t an ideal Kappa man as Battles had stated at his funeral. McKnight has been a Kappa since 1996, and he doesn’t think the organization’s highest honor should have gone to someone whose reputation had been questioned. McKnight has stopped paying dues and offering financial support to the fraternity until the Laurel Wreath pin is returned.
Another Kappa, Anthony Jackson, indicated that Long was scheduled to receive the award back in 2011. It was at the time when he was dealing with the allegations against him by four men who accused him of inappropriate sexual behavior. Even though Long was never found guilty, he settled out of court. The Kappas thought the scandal caused embarrassment to their organization, so they held the pin until it was presented at the funeral.

Director James Comey confirmed Monday that the FBI is investigating Russia’s meddling in the 2016 presidential election, including possible links between the Trump campaign and Moscow.

He also shot down President Donald Trump’s explosive claim that President Barack Obama wiretapped Trump Tower in the run-up to the election.
Comey told the House Intelligence Committee at a hearing that the bureau normally does not comment on the existence of counterintelligence investigations, but that he was authorized by the Justice Department to do so in this case because of the extraordinary public interest.
“This will also include an assessment of whether any crimes were committed,” Comey told the intelligence panel, explaining that the investigation began in late July. He said he could not give a timeline or comment further on the matter but pledged to “follow the facts wherever they lead.”
Comey also said he had “no information” to support Trump’s claim, made on Twitter, about Trump Tower being wiretapped by his predecessor.
“I have no information that supports those tweets, and we have looked carefully inside the FBI,” Comey said. He added that the Justice Department had also looked for evidence to support the president’s allegation and could not find any.
Comey noted that “some folks may want to make comparison to past instances where the Department of Justice and the FBI have spoken about the details of some investigations,” an apparent reference to his decision to speak publicly before the election about the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails. He said the difference was that “those involved the details of completed investigations.”
Republicans on the committee focused their questions on getting to the bottom of who leaked to the news media the fact that former national security adviser Michael Flynn had pre-inauguration conversations with Russia’s ambassador.
“Whether Russia attempted to influence our democratic process is incredibly important,” said Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.). “Some of that may rise to the level of a crime. Some of it does not rise to the level of a crime. One thing you and I agree on is the felonious dissemination of classified material most definitely is a crime.”
Comey declined to say whether the FBI was investigating the potential leak of classified information related to Flynn, but he said that such a leak would be taken very seriously.
His acknowledgment that the counterintelligence investigation into Russia’s election meddling began in July is significant, as it means the FBI was looking into the matter during the height of the presidential campaign. In October, then-Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) sent a letter to Comey accusing him of having a “double standard” because he was willing to speak out about Clinton’s emails but not about Trump’s links to Russia.
“It has become clear that you possess explosive information about close ties and coordination between Donald Trump, his top advisors, and the Russian government,” Reid wrote. “The public has a right to know this information.”
National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers, who testified alongside Comey, told the committee there was no evidence of any votes actually being changed by the Russians.
Trump’s official Twitter account pointed to Rogers’ comments during the hearing, writing: “The NSA and FBI tell Congress that Russia did not influence electoral process.”
Later in the hearing, Comey said it was not “our intention” to say that Russia’s actions had no impact on the election. Asked specifically about Trump’s tweet, he said: “We’ve offered no opinion, have no view, have no information on potential impact because that’s not something we’ve looked at.”
But, he added, “We saw no efforts aimed at the vote itself.”
Minutes before Comey’s highly anticipated testimony, the intelligence panel’s ranking Democrat, Rep. Adam Schiff of California, scolded Trump on the president’s platform of choice: Twitter.
“Mr. President, the Russians hacked our election and interfered. No one disputes this now, but you. This is what is called ‘fact,’” Schiff wrote in a series of tweets denouncing Trump’s claim that Obama wiretapped Trump Tower. “The intelligence community concluded the Russians will interfere again. This is why full investigation is important to country. Please stop.”
Schiff followed with more tweets directed at the president, saying there’s no evidence Obama or the British government surveilled him.
“Your suggestion British wiretapped you & jape with Merkel are harming our relationships with key allies. This is called ‘collateral damage,’” Schiff tweeted, a reference to White House press secretary Sean Spicer’s claim last week that the U.K.’s intelligence apparatus might have spied on Trump. The White House has since promised to the U.K. that it wouldn’t repeat those allegations.
Schiff’s messages were in response to a series of early morning tweets from the president on Monday. Hours before Comey was to testify, Trump tweeted that there’s no evidence that he colluded with Russia and that any claims that he did are “fake news.” He blamed Democrats for fabricating the story “as an excuse for running a terrible campaign.”
At the start of the hearing, Schiff delivered a lengthy speech running through the public evidence of links between Trump associates and Moscow. He leaned heavily on an unsubstantiated “dossier” compiled by a former British intelligence agent.
“If the Trump campaign, or anybody associated with it, aided or abetted the Russians, it would not only be a serious crime, it would also represent one of the most shocking betrayals of our democracy in history,” Schiff said.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God meets Obnoxious Extreme  Ratchet Behavior……Well my Obnoxious Street Committee takes us to Denver, Colorado to The Potter’s House Denver.  Many of you that read my blog will recall a few years back when the Black Pope, Bishop TD Jakes retired Bishop Dennis Lenard and purchased his campus to grow his franchise.  It seemed at the time to be a Jakes power move and the church was doing well.  Jakes placed one of his Spiritual Sons Chris Hill as the pastor and under his leadership the church seemed to have been doing extremely well.  In fact they not only did Chris have the church remodeled they also expanded to accommodate the demand and large numbers attending the Sunday services.  The Megachurch presently has three morning services, but all that is soon to come to a halt.

 According to members of my Obnoxious Street Committee it is some serious trouble in the Jakes Camp and Chris Hill has either stepped down as pastor or will be very soon.  Rumor has it that Jakes protege Chris Hill has for the most part stepped down as pastor of the Potter’s House Denver due to a mass text message his wife, Lady Joy Turner Hill sent out to all the church leadership exposing his affair with one of her so called spiritual daughters.  Well, last week he stood before the congregation and read a letter that he would be taking a month off to deal with some martial issues and to spend time with his wife.  The Jakes Clan  has been coming in weekly to preach while Chris  is getting his house in order.  Not sure if this scandal will demand The Black Pope to fly in himself to keep the ministry from going under since Chris Hill was to dumb to keep from messing up a gold mine.  He must have forgotten how many sons Jakes has that would give their right arm to be stepup grand fashion by the Godfather himself.

 Love is in the details so let me give you more inside information on the Chris Hill and Joy Turner Hill’s marital woes.  To add insult to injury Joy sent out a mass text message about her husband’s affair and shortly thereafter the so called Spritual Daughter was fired from working at Potter’s House Denver.  We have not been able to confirm this, but we believe her name is Shirnay McFarland (alleaged church whore).  Now this is where it gets good and interesting, Shirnay is married and Chris Hill paid for the wedding and performed the ceremony.  Now how low can you go Chris?  You knocking boots with a daughter of your ministry that is also an employee you pay for her wedding and married her.  Chris needs more then just a month off he needs to step down for some time.  So all this Spritual Daughter/Dad junk was just a cover up for Chris to have good reason for his side piece to be close to him often.  The alleaged text message that we have been trying so hard to get our hands on, where Joy states she is sick and tired of lying and covering for Chris.  Now think about it, it has to be a special place in Hell for a whore that can sit in church with a man’s wife and worship God knowing full well she is getting her back blown out by the pastor.

 Things got really ugly with Chris and Joy and the police were called out to their house.  It seems that when she confronted him about his affair things got physical and the police was called.  No arrest was made, but police had to come out due to the heated blow up about the affair with someone so close to her and their family that also worked at the church.  Shirnay is constantly around and in the Hills face, but apparently Chris wanted his side chick easily assessable so he could have pussy on demand. He was smart to have her work at the church the same way Charles Jenkins did so he would not have to give her hush money out of his own personal pocket.  Apparently Joy hired a private investigator to confirm and obtain irrefutable proof that Chris was in fact having an affair with a whore that was on the church payroll.  Joy has been persona non grata for over a month and church attendance has been falling.  Jackass Jakes might just have to fly in himself and get ahold of this mess Chris Hill has made.

Obnoxious Media reached out to Chris and Joy, but we did not get a response. Not if you look closely at their social media accounts you will see little to not post by the Hills in at least a month.  We are still trying to get out hands on the original text Joy sent out and a copy of the letter Chris Hill read to the congregation this past Sunday.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Mr. Obnoxious has obtained a copy to the the text message Lady Joy Turner Hill sent to church leadership at Potter’s House Denver exposing her husband, Chris Hills affair.

It is clear from the tone of Joy’s text message Chris Hill’s affair has taken a serious toll on her mentally and emotionally.  It is not easy to live a lie!  Presenting yourself one way before the people and going home and being a totally different person.  It see,s that to cover face Chris is attempting to save face by throwing the mother of his children under the bus and declare she is mentally ill.  Perhaps it is fair to say that if she in fact has suffered a nervous breakdown it was brought on by him and his dirty deeds.  In all fairness to Joy it might have just been more then she could take and she reached her breaking point and lashed out.  Some women stay and some lash out.  

There is a special place in Hell for whores that can sit in church under the same roof and worship and praise God knowing full well they are having sex with the pastor and the wife is in the same room.  It must be some very vicious dark evil place in the heart of a woman that can do such a thing.  Chris Hill’s affair is not other same if he met a woman in the mall or out of town, but no he picked someone close in church and family circle, which is low down and dirty.

FYI Pastor called the police on me tonight because I yelled at him asking him to leave the house tonight and he wouldn’t.

I was upset because he won’t stop having an affair with Shirnae, and I can’t live like this anymore. They’ve been having an affair for SEVERAL months, and he finally admitted it yesterday (after I hired a private investigator to have them followed over the past 6 weeks). Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Seems that the Church Of God In Christ is falling apart in Houston, Texas.  You may recall the story we posted on Bishop Rufus Kyles two years ago about the allegations that he had sex with a minor (see article below).  Well, Kyles won his appeal, but the General Borad will not reinstate him as bishop and pastor.  His daughter shared a status on her Facebook page exposing the full details.

Good morning, All! It has recently been brought to my attention that representation from the Standards & Extensions Committee of the National COGIC will be in Beaumont on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 during TSE #1’s Ministers’ and Workers’ Meeting. The purpose of the Committee’s presence will be to canvass the pastoral support for Bishop Johnny Tates in accord with the illegal polling that was conducted in August 2016. Please recall that Bishop Porter conducted a polling at Mt. Rose COGIC at the end of the TSE #1 2016 Convocation. Bishop Tates (then Superintendent Tates), Pastor Destry Bell and several other pastors, participated in a polling that was spearheaded by Bishop Brandon Porter. The purpose of the polling was to determine who the pastors of the jurisdiction would prefer as their leader IN THE EVENT BISHOP KYLES WAS NOT REINSTATED. Please note that at the time of the polling, Bishop Kyles was still on suspension despite the fact that the statute of limitations for bringing his case to a resolve had already elapsed. Bishop Kyles remains on suspension at the time of this post. In a subsequent meeting held at Williams Temple COGIC, Bishop Porter stated that Bishop Blake’s desire was to appoint Bishop Tates as the jurisidictional prelate of Texas Southeast First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. Keep in mind that Bishop Kyles has been left out of the loop as it relates to the goings on of the Jurisdiction. Again, please understand that he is on suspension; he has not been removed!!!! The disrespect and total disregard of his presence is ridiculous! (I digress.)

On March 3, 2017, Bishop Talbert Swann II, Asst. General Secretary of the National Church distributed “AN APPLICATION FOR PASTORS AND CHURCHES SEEKING MEMBERSHIP IN A PROPOSED NEW JURISDICTION.” [See attached photos.] Three days later, on March 6, 2017, Bishop Tates distributed the Application to several pastors within Texas Southeast First soliciting their support of him and requesting that they return the completed Application to him during the upcoming Ministers’ & Workers’ Meeting. It has not been verified whether Pastor Destry Bell distributed the same.

Sadly, none of this information was passed along to Bishop Kyles from anyone in an official capacity. As I previously stated in prior posts, Bishop Kyles’ case is still on appeal. The last notification Bishop Kyles received was that his retrial would take place next month during the April Call Meeting; however, on Wednesday, March 8, Bishop Porter attended a meeting with the members of Evangelist Temple and was unable to provide any intelligence as it relates to Bishop Kyles’ retrial. Bishop Porter did conduct a Q&A session while at Evangelist Temple, and one question that came to the floor was when Bishop Kyles’ retrial would take place. Bishop Porter explicitly stated that he did not know! The problem with that response is this: AT NO POINT HAS ANYONE FROM THE GENERAL BOARD OR THE BOARD OF BISHOPS NOTIFIED BISHOP KYLES THAT HIS RETRIAL WOULD NOT TAKE PLACE IN APRIL!!! However, the National Church continues to engage in and encourage activity that would potentially cause the dissolution and demise of Texas Southeast First.

Bishop Porter came to Evangelist Temple on Wednesday night to address the concerns of some of the members. Most of the questions were petty and not worthy of being repeated here. What is amazing to me is that neither Bishop Kyles nor anyone from his support team has been successful in acquiring any intelligence from the National Church, but a handful of petty members can voice their petty concerns and Bishop Porter is on a plane to Houston.

Bishop Kyles’ case is “going down in history” as Bishop Porter stated so eloquently this past Wednesday night. However, what is also going down in COGIC history is the disparity with which this matter has been handled – or should I say MISHANDLED. Yes, Bishop Porter is correct (I know y’all never thought you would hear me say that), but only to a limited degree. Unfortunately, there is an entire jurisdiction that is being intentionally misguided by the actions of the National Church. While these pastors are being prompted to support someone else as the next jurisdictional leader, NO ONE from the National Church has effectively communicated with the current leader.

I believe in the freedom of choice. I also believe that whatever choices we make should be made with adequate intelligence, and only INFORMED decisions should be made. To those pastors who are considering signing the aforementioned Application, PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOUR SIGNATURE THEREON WILL, IN EFFECT, COMMIT YOU TO THAT JURISDICTION FOR A MINIMUM TIME PERIOD OF ONE YEAR.

Church Of God In Christ (COGIC) Bishop Rufus Kyles Stripped Of His Jurisdiction Due Allegations He Has Gotten A Minor Pregnanted–Get The Details On How It All Went Down During The 65th Annual Women’s Convention NOW!!! Edit this entry

Just In as of 3:23pm Eastern Standard Time! Bishop Rufus Kyles stepped down as pastor of Evanglist Temple Church Of God In Christ due to the allegd allegations of sexual mis conduct. It is said that his case is going before the Grand Jury for allegedly having sex with a female minor!!!
Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Many of you may not be aware that at every national meeting of the Church Of God In Christ the General Board uses that time to meet in person to discuss matters of the church and make decisions. In addition to the General Board meeting Bishop John Henry SHEARD, Chairman of the Borad of Bishops, meets with all the jurisdictional prelates in the church to discuss and resolve matters of importance. Prior to the close of the 65th Annual Women’s Convention a matter concerning Bishop Rufus Kyles, prelate of the Texas Southeast Jurisdiction of the Church a of God In Christ (COGIC) came up in the bishops chambers that was actually tabled so that it could be delt with by the General Board.

According to wonderful members of my Obnoxious Street Committee that just so happen to be bishops in the church started blowing my phone up. This information was so smoking hot it came by phone call, text message, e-mail, and social media. All of the stories were almost identical. Obnoxious Media refers to inform you that according to our sources the General Board requested Bishop Kyles be suspended for a year. Now it was unclear if his suspension is pending investigation or as the results of an investigation. It is times like this when our work is most difficult and that is when we find ourselves reporting on people we actually like. Bishop Kyles is the nicest man and a great preacher that has allegedly been found in error. Unfortunately he is rumored to be overtaken in a fault that will ultimately coast him his goal chain.
Dressed in his purple shirt and clergy collar Obnoxious Media received word and photos that Bishop Kyles sat on the coveted COGIC National Platform along with his fellow brothern as if he had not just been stripped of his life’s work. Now it is said that his long time adjunct Bishop Kirk Thompson was not desired by the pastors in Texas Southeast Jurisdiction to serve as their interim bishop. Rumor has it that Thompson was not born into COGIC, but was a personal friend of Bishop Kyles and joined the denomination after Bishop Woodard passed and Bishop Kyles was appointed the jurisdiction. 

The word form several very reliable sources is that Bishop Charles Edward Blake will fly to Houston on Thursday of this week to meet with the men of the jurisdiction himself. It remains to be seen just how this decision will alter the course of the church. Now we know that all unrighteousness is sin according to The Word, but it seems that in COGIC the rule only apply when you are not liked. Now to be fair to Bishop Kyles and we will admit we are biased because we like him, he is a nice man and a good preacher. What is Bishop Blake going to do about all the other bishops with basterd babies and we can start calling the roll with fellow members of the General Board. As election year vastly approaches this is the time to walk humbly before voting delegates in the church. In fact some men became bishop and the world knew they had bastard babies, like Derrick Huttchins for example and so many others. Why should Bishop Kyles be singled out? Should Rufus be made to wear a scarlet letter when so many other COGIC leaders are known whore mongers as well?  

Now the rumor is this lady could be a minor that just might be expecting a little tax write off in nine months, but the jury is still out on that one. It is also said a member of the Genral Board had a baby by a minor as well. Again election year is coming and it is going to get interesting to say the least. It is fair to say the fight is on and we will be watching to see who will still be standing at the close of the meeting of the General Assembly of the Church Of God In Christ during the Holy Convocation in 2016 because it is time to go to war and you better draw blood!

The Bishop Rufus Kyles, prelate of Texas Southeast Jurisdiction of the Church of God In Christ has been reported to have step down as the jurisdictional leader because allegedly be was found in a inappropriate relationship with a minor. Its not clear yet if any charges have been files on Kyles, but the leadership of the COGIC will be in on this Thursday to make some decisions about the jurisdiction. Members of the jurisdiction say he will be placed on a one year suspension from his responsibility as Bishop. Bishop Kyles has already been named in a lawsuit along with Bishop Enoch Perry & Bishop Charles Blake involved in a issue with trying to take more than $1 million dollars worth of church property. When Kyles was to appear in court he was a no show. The plaintiff in that matter was awarded $900,000 in damages. Kyles is quickly proving himself to be a liability in leader. We will
find out more as Bishop Blake will be in Texas this week. It will be interesting to see how the national church will handle this situation especially since it involving a minor.

HOUSTON, TX – A lawsuit being adjudicated in Harris County Texas’ 133rd District Court alleges that COGIC Presiding Bishop Charles Blake, Sr., Texas Southeast First Jurisdiction Bishop Rufus Kyles, Bishop Charles Brown II and newly minted bishop Enoch Perry, III acting on behalf of the denomination’s General Board, were responsible for the theft of over 1 million dollars of intellectual properties and items from a church location . The Church of God in Christ, Inc. is also a named defendant.
The plaintiffs Dr. Patricia Brown-Johnson and Interfaith Interdenominational Ministries, Inc say that in 2005 Bishop Kyles accepted Brown-Johnson as a member of his jurisdiction under a special program due to COGIC’s prohibition of female pastors. Brown-Johnson was to be given the designation of “Special Alliance Supervisor”. Kyles later offered to buy a Baytown, Texas church owned by Brown-Johnson and while in possession of the property, sold or allowed to be sold equipment and other items not contained in the agreement. The agreement went sour when Kyles refused to close on the property.
When Brown-Johnson sought to get the items returned through church leadership channels, she was asked by Presiding Bishop GE Patterson (deceased) and then General Secretary AZ Hall (deceased) not to pursue criminal charges and that the church would recompense the losses. Church leaders wanted to keep the issue private and handle it “internally”.
Brown-Johnson stated in the lawsuit that she contacted the General Board and was instructed to provide extensive documentation because [she was told by Enoch Perry] Bishop Kyles was going to be “defrocked” over the incident and a trial was to be held. She was repeatedly assured by GB bishops that her property would be returned and she would be compensated for any unreturnable losses. Based on these assurances, she did not file criminal or civil suits.
But after providing the evidence to the satisfaction of Enoch Perry, Charles Blake, COO Charles Brown and other defendants, the evidence disappeared. Brown said the items would be returned after Blake reviewed them. Documents and program she had written and copyrighted later resurfaced as COGIC related documents.
In March 2010, she received a letter from Enoch Perry stating that nothing would be compensated or returned. The good ole boy bishop’s club circled the wagons and begin denying that Brown-Johnson was ever given any assurances of compensation or justice. Brown-Johnson subsequently filed suit.
Bishop Rufus Kyles never responded to the lawsuit and never showed up in court. In a July 2012 judgment the court found in favor of the plaintiffs and awarded $900,000 in damages plus court costs and interest until the amount was paid. COGIC’s current legal strategy is to get the case dismissed. The next hearing on that is April 21st at 11 am. You can read the actual lawsuit and judgment under Letters and Documents.

An Education specialist with a degree from Sam Houston State University, Brown-Johnson told Report COGIC Abuse, “My Spiritual Heritage has been stolen from me!”

I trusted the men of God, Bishop Charles Blake, Bishop Charles Brown, Judge Enoch Perry and now deceased Bishop Chandler Owens. [They said] No matter how long it would take, Interfaith church and I would be compensated for all losses.
My true proofs copyright venues placed in their hands are worth $1,000,000.00 apiece. They have four. Even in a witness protection program with my life under threat, special alliances were made for compliance with request made by the General Board through Judge Enoch Perry.
I need to recover my losses so my children and my life can move forward. Interfaith church can move forward.
Judge Enoch Perry and the IRS have Kyles’ original police reports. We only want what is due us rightfully. I did not have Bishop Kyles and pastors arrested per the General Board’s request because they wanted to settle within the church. The witness protection and life protection program had to be handled in a way that my true location was not disclosed from 2004-2011. Bishop Chandler Owens did everything he could to resolve this until he became ill and passed.”

These are inglorious acts on the part of COGIC’s leadership. However, as we have reported for many years the facts of this case come as no surprise. The defendants in this case are no strangers to Report COGIC Abuse. Under Enoch Perry’s disastrous reign as chief legal advisor, COGIC leadership has employed unscrupulous tactics against its own unwitting members. As they did with Brown-Johnson, false promises are made to avert court cases only to later capitulate. All four have been involved in numerous cases of sexual, judicial and administrative abuses in the last five years.

The bible is clear and there’s no shadow of turning in its qualifying instructions for the man who would be bishop. Titus 1: 7-8 For an overseer, as God’s steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. (our bold).
When it comes to the flesh and sex, a bishop must exercise self control and discipline. Otherwise, with the magnitude of his influence and the attraction of his persona, his charisma will bring him numerous opportunities to indulge himself sexually and financially. If he does not exercise due diligence in his sexual life (apart from his wife or 100% celibate if single) he will endanger the flock and invite the same spirits to have free reign among those under his jurisdiction.
Secondly, 1 Timothy 3:7 adds this qualifier: Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
A bishop cannot have a bad character/reputation report. This doesn’t include false accusations, it means that there must not be a consistent cloud of suspicious/ungodly/unseemly behavior following him due to his own actions. This extends even to the unsaved. They must not be able to “spot” the bishop’s life inasmuch as his ethics is concerned.
If this is not valued, the bishop will “fall into reproach by giving way to the excesses of his former life [of sin]. Apparently, and with a preponderance of evidence, these COGIC bishops have no resemblance to what is shown in scripture.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Since breaking the story on Chris Hill I have been overwhelmed with calls, text messages, emails, and social media messages from all over the country that I took a few days off and did not post anything.  However, this story is huge!  A member of my Obnoxious Street Committee informed me of this shocking story.  Bishop Neil Ellis and the leaders in his organization, GLOBAL United Fellowship met in Atlanta for their Leaders and Pastors Planning Meeting.  The three days of business meetings and planning sessions for The Gathering that will take place in July.  Not sure of all of the details, but Bishop Paul Sylvester Morton attended on of the evening sessions that transformed into a reconciliation of Paul and Niel.  It was in August of 2013 that Neil Ellis resigned as the 2nd Assistant Presiding Bishop of Full Gospel Baptist Fellowship.  Ellis was delt a dirty deal when he was looked over to be presiding bishop when Paul retired.

 Ellis served Paul faithfully and covered for him when Paul had a complete and total nervous breakdown while preaching at his church in the Bahamas.  The tape that would have been worth millions was destroyed by Ellis and never seen by anyone except for the people that was in the service and witnessed it with thier own eyes.  Although, it was not enough for Paul to not overlook Ellis and call for a vote to name his successor.  Rumor has it that Full Gospel would not have done well with a non US citizens as the presiding bishop.  Joseph Walker was able to seal the deal inspit of having been sued for sexual misconduct by a former member of his church.  Walker settled the case out of court and the details of the settlement were sealed.  No matter how you look at Ellis was done dirty by a man that he served faithfully.  

The Obnoxious Street Committee member said they allowed Paul to address the group and he expressed his love for Bishop Niel Ellis and how proud he was of the work he is doing and GLOBAL United Fellowship success in such a short period of time.  It is said there was not a dry eye in the house due to a number of the members of GLOBAL having left Full Gospel due to the way Ellis was mistreated.  Four years later and the have forgiven each other.  Now what we find amazing here at Obnoxious Media is that Paul Morton submitted himself to Niel Ellis and went to his meeting to get things right.  Very much out of character for the egomaniacal Paul Morton we are accustomed to him being.  Especially because Paul is known for going left when he has the mic like he did when he exposed the man that stopped payment on a check for him preaching and singing at his church.  On the night he was to preach during his convention while live on The Word Network Paul Morton called the man’s name and the name of his church and told him to pay him the money he owes him.  

Well, something special happen this week in Atlanta and talks of some type of coming together is in the works.  It remains to be seen if Joseph Walker goes for it or not or if they will continue as to separate organizations and the two of them are friends again.  Let this be an example to so many of the Saints that need to get things right!  Bet Paul Morton will be invited to preach at The Gathering this July!

It is amazing that Paul Morton feels Joseph Walker is the right man for the job, but when he had a complete and total nervous breakdown some years back it was his wife and Ellis that held the Full Gospel Fellowship together until he was mentally able to return. Insiders said that Walker was promised the seat even prior to the vote and that some men had serious issues with the leader of Full Gospel being an American. According to Ellis‘ letter there has been some serious discussion about his not becoming the next presiding bishop that would not allow him to continue to serve. It is obvious that Paul Morton is a liar and has lied about his first born child for close to forty years, which was revealed in this very blog on a Wednesday and by the following Sunday he admitted the truth about his child. Therefore, you must realize that if he will lie about his child lying about the outcome of the vote for bishop is nothing.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God meets Drug Dealers And Killers Strike Again ……Obnoxious Media broke the story of Jamal’s bastard son last year.  Baltimore mega preacher, Jamal Bryant is getting called out by a woman he had a child with, LaToya Odom. According to Odom, Bryant has ignored a court order regarding child support and now she wants the pastor jailed.
Odom initially sued Bryant back in 2016, demanding he make child support payments for their son, John Karston Bryant, who was born in 2015. She also fought for custody of baby John. Bryant argued that he initially made child support payments. However, according to him, Odom’s continued harassment made him cease the payments and he believed a judge could mediate the situation better. Bryant and Odom reached a settlement last November with Odom gaining primary physical custody of her son, while Bryant received visitation. The child support amount would not be disclosed, however Bryant had to cover Odom’s $13,500 legal bill.

Now, according to new reports, Odom has accused Bryant of not providing her with his address for their son’s medical card and Bryant’s is supposedly “late time to time” on his child support payments. Odom is calling for a revised court order so Bryant can make payments on time. She also wants the 45-year-old preacher sent to jail for contempt until he purges himself of said contempt.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……The Saints in Florida have reached out to Obnoxious Media to share the great dilemma they find themselves in since their pastor died.  Eastern Florida Jurisdiction of the Church Of God In Christ (COGIC) emeritized Bishop Jacob Choen due to some of the pastors in the jurisdiction complaining to the national church that he was suffering with dementia.  It seems that the men in the jurisdiction are living to regret the decision they made.  Jimmie Williams a superintendent in the jurisdiction and fomer mail man was polled to be the next bishop, but that just might not have been the best decision.  Since Jimmie has been leading the Jurisdiction issues with money of misappropriating funds to poor decisions of jurisdictional appointments and several issues with Churches in need of a pastor.  

Thomas Temple Church Of God In Christ is thought to be a hidden little gold mine due the the million dollars in the church’s bank account.  Prior to the death of the pastor for over thirty years, Superintendent Robinson lead the church in a most successful building fund campaign to eventually build a church.  Unfortunately, Robinson died before he was able to build a church and now in his death all Hell has broken loose to to the hunk and a chunk of money in their account.  Now insiders say that the deceased pastor’s son, Allen Robinson is rumored made off with over $600,000 dollars of Thomas Temple’s money and used it to build a family life center onto his chirch in Atlanta.  However, Obnoxious Media spoke to Allen and he said that he has not taken anything, but was put in place by his father prior to his death to oversee the church’s account.  Thomas Temple Members say that Jimmie Williams has delt them a raw deal just because he has been trying to find a slick way to deplete the money in the bank.  It is customary for a church without a pastor to give an offering to the Jurisdictional Prelate, who serves as the interim pastor or his designee until the bishop appoints a new pastor.  Not sure way Jimmie Williams keeps looking over all the men in his jurisdiction and brings in men from other cities when a church pastoral position is available.  

 Members of the jurisdiction was not pleased that Jimmie Williams brought in Shawn Jarrett form Detroit, where he was pastoring and had to be relocated to Florida.  A number of men already living in the state and having grown up in the jurisdiction were overlooked to now his making Robert Scott, who has a know criminal past and alleagedly warrant for his arrest presently.  Recently leaders of the jurisdiction refused to continue to pay the young minister Jimmie Williams appointed director of public relations for the jurisdiction   Scott is to be paid five hundred dollars a week, but somehow two checks this month managed to have possibly fraudulent made the checks out for $5,000 dollars.  Scott was busted red handed and got $10,000 dollars out of the church.  Insiders at the church say that Wells Fargo has launched an investigation to determine just what happened with the fraudulent checks Scott cashed.  Robert Scott is originally from Ohio and said to be the cousin of the lying Darrell Scott that supported Trump.  Still no pastor has been named and the church is in an uproar while a father and son fight because each of them want the position.  None of this seems to bother Jimmie the least bet and he is not interested in pointing a pastor anytime soon.  At this rate it will not be long before Eastern Flordia splits or get rid of Jimmie as their jurisdictional bishop.  Only time will tell.

Greetings

We pray this communique will help us in this church find resolution to some issues that we are having with our elected leadership. It is our endeavor to sanctify the leader in the eyes of the people and so we write this communique with respect to the office of the Bishop. However some actions taken by Bishop Jimmie L. Williams Prelate of Florida Eastern Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction is not in the best interest of our church Thomas Temple Church of God in Christ. Over two years ago, we the members started a petition to advise the leadership of this jurisdiction that we did not agree with the Recommendation of Elder Vincent Robinson to become the pastor.

Over the course of time, we endured several individuals coming to provided pastoral care such as Supt. Dr. Sean R. Jarrett who came a provided solid ministry that begun to increase the membership of the church. After he was abruptly remove without just cause the ministry began to decline spirituality and numerally which you will find this same atmosphere throughout the jurisdiction. Yet, Bishop refuses to deal with the situations that is constantly accruing. Bishop Williams called a church meeting to inform us that we will be voting for our next Pastor. We have had four candidate to come and each of them operated in their various gifts of ministry to allow us time decide. However prior to this, Bishop Williams conducted meetings with the church and we have constantly stated that we did not want certain individuals to be our Pastor.

Recently, Bishop Williams made an appointment to advise the membership that Elder Vincent Robinson will be our newly-elected Pastor. Elder Robinson refuses to pray and anoint people with oil in the church, always have an attitude and is very unapproachable. Furthermore, Bishop Williams stated that Prophet Robert Scott will be in charge until he feels that the appointed pastor is ready to Pastor the church. Prophet Scott is not a member the Church of God in Christ and if you look in him on google he has very bad criminal background that would disqualify him to act in this capacity in our church.

Lastly, after Bishop Williams made his appointments he preceded to say that for everyone that spoke against him “There has been a curse put upon us and it could not remove unless we repent out of our soul in the right way”. Our membership tremendously declining and we are afraid of the current direction that the church is undergoing. There are other details that we are prepared to give you, however please help us with your immediate attention to this crises.

Scam victims upset about Robert Scott’s early release

Robert D. Scott Jr. is back in a church ministering some months after being let out of prison early on a 16-month sentence for theft.

Andrew Picek, deputy prosecutor of Clark County, Ohio, said he wasn’t sure why Scott, who was known as Bishop Scott when he was in Anderson, was let out early, but did say there had been changes in Ohio law that allowed first-time offenders to get out early if they complete a program.
The two women Scott scammed are upset that he’s out.
Nicole, who requested her last name not be used because of her recent marriage, said Scott is now involved with a church in Columbus, Ohio. She wondered if Scott was being paid for ministering because he still owes his victim $24,000.
Scott is now called Prophet RD Scott, and he’s affiliated with the Victory Deliverance Church in Columbus, Ohio. This fall he spoke at the church two times, and these talks by Scott have been prominently displayed on the church’s website.
The Herald Bulletin played phone tag with Pastor Jonathan K. Sanders of Victory Deliverance Church, but didn’t connect. Sanders did leave a voice mail.
He said Scott was his friend and the bishops who are over him within the church cleared Scott to minister. Scott last spoke at the church on Oct. 21.
Nicole wonders if Scott is being paid to minister and if any of that money will end up paying back his victim.
Nicole was also scammed by Scott but accepted a court settlement. The second victim, whose name is Charm, last name withheld, is the one whose case eventually sent Scott to prison. Charm lives in Columbus.
“I can’t believe he’s speaking in Columbus,” she said.
Picek said Scott still owes the money to Charm, but the court can’t garnish his wages. He said he advised Charm to retain an attorney and file a civil suit against Scott.
But Nicole said a civil suit might be difficult because, she added, there are numerous suits already filed against Scott. Getting in line might be fruitless.
Scott runs an organization called the Prophetic Empowerment Ministries, according to his Facebook page. The page describes Scott thusly: “Dr. Scott seeks to empower the world spiritually, educationally, politically, economically, culturally and uplift all humanity through the life-changing, uncompromising Word of God.” There are promotions for Scott’s upcoming ministries, including one at Higher Ground Ministries on Nov. 15.
None of this sits well with his victims.
“He’s off and running at a new church,” said Charm.
But Picek had a different take. He said the matter will catch up with Scott sooner or later.
“He’ll do it again,” he said.

 Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God meets Drug Dealers And Killers Strike Again……A prominent Toledo pastor and a second man took part in repeated sexual acts and the trafficking of a teenage girl, according to a criminal complaint unsealed Friday in federal court.

In all the years of my writing my blog and exposing many of the ills in the church this has by far must be one of the worst.  Constantly we are made aware of so called Men of God doing things that are damnable and a reproach to the church and the name of God.  It seems that Cordell Jenkins and Anthony Haynes has taken advantage of a teenage girl that was obviously having issues.  It is said that Jenkins is connected to Gospel Singer Marvin Winans, who is the Presiding Bishop of Perfecting Church International of which Jenkins is a member and has preached on a number of large platforms.

The Rev. Cordell Jenkins, 46, and Anthony Haynes, 38, were both arrested without incident Friday at their Toledo residences, according to FBI officials.  Obnoxious Media is working on the details of how Jenkins connected with the teenage girl and more details.  According to members of my Obnoxious Street Committee the other female they were having sex with and making the teenage girl have sex in front of is actually Anthony Haynes step-daughter.  It seems that Haynes step daughter got jealous that the teenage girl was getting more attention then she was.  Haynes step-daughter was threatening to attack the teen girl until the teacher was forced to get involved and report the incident.

Authorities filed a criminal complaint detailing their alleged intercourse with a teenage girl at various locations, including an area church.

Jenkins is the founder and pastor of Abundant Life Ministries, 5025 Glendale Ave., according to the church’s website.

 The site also identified Lucas County Administrator Laura Lloyd-Jenkins as Mr. Jenkins’ wife. A county official confirmed Mr. Jenkins is married to Ms. Lloyd-Jenkins.
In the complaint, a teenage girl told federal investigators how Mr. Haynes sexually exploited her for three years, starting when she was 14. Mr. Haynes, she said, engaged in sexual acts in front of her with an adult woman, and later with the teen as well, the document read.
Additionally, he coerced [the girl] into continued secrecy by implying revealing the sexual activity between them would ruin his family and church,” the federal agent wrote.

Mr. Haynes sexually exploited her with several other adult men, including one identified as Mr. Jenkins, according to the complaint.

Mr. Jenkins and the girl engaged in sexual acts at his residence, a motel, and an area church, authorities said.
“Jenkins continued to sexually exploit [the girl] for the next couple of months. At times, Jenkins had sex with [her] at his office at an area church,” according to a charging affidavit sworn by the FBI.

According to that document, Mr. Jenkins took the girl, identified by the FBI as Juvenile No. 1, to a Red Roof Inn in Toledo on “at least two occasions,” including once after Mr. Jenkins had pressured the girl to find an acquaintance for a shared sexual act and she complied.

The Red Roof Inn “confirmed that on two occasions Jenkins reserved a room at the motel” and surveillance video confirmed his presence. On the first occasion, the video “clearly shows Jenkins and Juvenile No. 1 enter a motel room and leave about an hour later,” the affidavit states, and the second video “confirmed that Jenkins was there with at least one of the juveniles.”
Agents said he paid Juvenile No. 1 on all occasions, ranging between $100 and $300, except for the time with the second girl, who was paid “approximately $120 to $140” for her participation.
 Both Mr. Jenkins and Mr. Haynes were shackled but wearing civilian clothing when federal marshals brought them to U.S. District Court for an initial appearance late Friday afternoon. Magistrate Judge James Knepp ordered they be held without bond until a detention hearing Thursday.

Michael Freeman, an assistant U.S. attorney, asked both men be detained because of the charges’ nature.
Through his court-appointed attorney, Merle Dech, Mr. Jenkins asked if he could have a hearing sooner than Thursday. Judge Knepp apologized, but said that wouldn’t be possible.
“Is there anything else I can do?” Mr. Jenkins asked before the hearing ended, to which Judge Knepp said there was not.
Reform Act is pretty specific,” he said, explaining that offenses of a sexual nature against children are among the crimes that carry a presumption that the defendant be held in jail.

Earlier in the hearing, Mr. Jenkins covered his face with his hands and shook his head no as Mr. Freeman read the charges and possible penalties he faced if convicted.
Mr. Freeman said Mr. Jenkins is charged with sex trafficking of a minor, which carries a minimum mandatory sentence of 10 years in prison and a maximum life sentence, as well as sexual exploitation of children, which carries between 15 and 30 years in prison.
Mr. Haynes is charged with sex trafficking of a minor and obstruction in the investigation of child sex trafficking, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years, Mr. Freeman said.
Mr. Jenkins told the court he intended to hire his own attorney. Mr. Haynes said he wanted a court-appointed attorney at least until he “made some phone calls.”

“These are some of the most serious charges we deal with,” Mr. Freeman said after the hearing. “We do everything in our power to protect the community, particularly minors.”
FBI spokesman Vicki Anderson said charges against the two do not involve the church in any way.
Ms. Anderson said the FBI received information a few weeks ago regarding allegations of the sexual misconduct involving minors and began an investigation. An Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations truck was parked Friday afternoon outside Abundant Life Ministries.
 Mr. Haynes’ last known employment is listed as the Greater Life Christian Center in Toledo. A telephone number for that establishment on North Detroit Avenue was out of service Friday.
A representative of University Bible Fellowship on Dorr Street said Friday his organization had rented space to Mr. Haynes’ congregation for a period of months ending last June, but the arrangement was terminated when the rent fell into arrears.

Old Orchard residents said FBI agents searched a home Friday in the 2400 block of Barrington Drive. County records list Ms. Lloyd-Jenkins as the owner, and neighbors said Mr. Jenkins also lived there. A resident inside motioned for a Blade reporter to leave the property. Ms. Lloyd-Jenkins could not be reached for comment.
Ms. Lloyd-Jenkins is listed as the secretary on the board of trustees for Lucas County Children Services, according to the child-protection agency’s website. As county administrator, she oversees day-to-day operations and supervises county officials.
Ms. Lloyd-Jenkins has been on approved leave from her county administrator position since Wednesday to attend to a health-related family matter in California, said Pete Gerken, president of the Lucas County Commissioners.

 Mr. Gerken said county representatives are “outraged and cooperative,” and will work with the FBI if asked.
The county has a clear stance against sex trafficking based on previous policies and statements, he said.
“If this is true, it is indefensible for Pastor Jenkins,” he said. “Our county employee remains a county employee. … [She], to our knowledge, is not charged and complicit.”
Mr. Gerken said county officials will continue monitoring the situation. It’s too soon to comment on whether she would be removed from her Children Services board position, he said.
Neighbors described the couple as quiet people who kept to themselves in the home.
Ian Johnson, a University of Toledo student who frequently stays nearby, called allegations of human trafficking eye-opening. He had not interacted with the Jenkins family.
“You don’t want something like that around here, and unfortunately Toledo’s known as a hub for this kind of stuff. It’s disappointing more than anything,” said Mr. Johnson, 20.
Star Academy of Toledo, a kindergarten through eighth-grade public charter school, shares a space with the church. The school was not placed on lockdown, but bus pick-up was moved to a different entrance away from where police vehicles were staged.
“As a parent, I would be concerned, but all of my babies here in school are safe,” said principal Vincent Riccardi. “None of the staff in the church have anything to do with our kids. We don’t do programs with them. We have no affiliation with Abundant Life Church, other than we happen to share the building, but they’re not in our area.”

In a unanimous decision by a Georgia jury, Bishop Kenneth Adkins, 57, of Brunswick was found guilty of molesting two members of his church congregation in 2010.

Since Adkins has a previous criminal history due to drug convictions, and because of Georgia’s strict sentencing, he may never be a free man, Savannah Now reported.

Controversy: Adkins became nationally infamous last year when he made a series of tweets mocking gay people after 49 people were killed in the Orlando gay club Pulse

Adkins, a drug addict-turned-PR boss-turned-preacher, was arrested in August last year, two months after he made national headlines for tweeting about the shootings at the Orlando gay club Pulse.

‘Dear Gays, Go sit down somewhere,’ he tweeted on June 13, the day after 49 people were killed and many more injured.

‘I know y’all want some special attention. Yall are sinners who need Jesus. This was an attack on America.’ 

He later tweeted: ‘been through so much with these Jacksonville homosexuals that I don’t see none of them as victims. I see them as getting what they deserve!!’

On Monday, a jury felt he got what he deserved. 

Over a week of testimony, they had heard how the victim had been groomed by the firebrand preacher.

The victim, who is not being named, said that Adkins had become a ‘father figure’ to him after his grandfather died, but that the relationship turned sexual in 2010.

explained how Adkins had bought him gifts and began calling him and texting him, News4Jax reported. The preacher had sent him pictures of his penis, the victim said.

Eventually Adkins told the teen that he wanted to watch him have sex with his girlfriend, to make sure he was doing it properly, the court heard.

The preacher then joined the pair in the sex acts, he said. The victim told the court he’d ‘lost count’ of the times the three had been involved in sexual situations in the church office, in Adkins’ car, and at the beach.

The girl in question – who was named in five of the charges Adkins was found guilty of – testified that the events had never happened.

But the prosecution claimed that the girl was under his influence.

‘She’s in his clutches,’ said assistant district attorney Katie Gropper. ‘What he has done to that girl is not only criminal, it is deplorable.’ 

Most of Adkins’ defense was based not on denying the claims made by the victim, but on questioning whether he and the girl were actually 15 at the time, or 16.

Had the pair been 16, they would have been legally capable of consenting to sex with Adkins under Georgia law.

In his closing statements – which took an hour and 20 minutes – defense attorney Kevin Gough told the jury eight times that even if they disliked Adkins, he should not be found guilty of ‘hypocrisy’.

‘Where is the evidence that any criminal act took place?’ he asked. ‘It may be awkward at public events, church, if you return an innocent verdict, but [be] assured, you should not take that into consideration.’

None of Adkins’ family – including his ten children – were present for any stage of the trial.

Adkins was convicted of two counts of aggravated child molestation, five counts of child molestation, and one count of enticing a child. 

He will be sentenced on April 25.

In the wake of the fallout from his Orlando tweets last year, Adkins had attempted a retraction.

Adkins, who had run a PR company in Florida prior to his time as a firebrand Georgia preacher, claimed that he was speaking only about a Jacksonville group and not gay people in general.

He had come under fire previously for gathering African-American community leaders to change human rights ordinance (HRO) that banned gay discrimination in the city, Jacksonville.com reported at the time. 

‘My tweet was strictly meant for the Jacksonville group that has made my life a living hell since I served on the panel and opposed the HRO,’ he said.

  Sentencing: Adkins will be sentenced on April 25. His lawyer did not deny the claims, but said that both teens were 16 – therefore of the age of consent in Georgia – at the time

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God meets Drug Dealers And Killers Strike Again……A local Jacksonville, North Carolina preacher remains in Onslow County Jail after allegedly not paying child support.

According to a member of the Obnoxious Street Committee the self proclaimed prophet did not see this coming.  Michael Claiborne has been ordered to remain in jail for thirty days and has to pay close to $9,000 in back child support.  Ironic that this sleaze bag is a co-pastor along with his wife, who appeared on Obnoxious last year for an ungodly fashion show the couple sponsored.  The Bible says a man that will not take care of his children is worst then an infidel and it has been proven that he is just that indeed.   

Michael Claiborne, 49, was arrested Tuesday by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office and charged with failure to comply.
Claiborne was arrested after being given orders from the court and not obeying the orders, said Maj. Chris Thomas with the sheriff’s office.

The Onslow County District Court Civil Division confirmed Claiborne’s case was for child support.
In these cases, Thomas said the person is typically arrested under a bond in the amount of what is owed and taken to jail where they stay until the bond is paid or the person goes to court.

Claiborne’s bond was set at $8,116 and he remains in Onslow County Jail, according to VineLink.

His second court date was scheduled for April 17 where the judge ordered him to serve thirty days in jail and to pay the back child support in full.  However, that will not conclude Micheal’s legal problems. 
Claiborne is a prophet at New Rivers Ministries, located at 475 Marine Blvd. in Jacksonville and is described on their website as “a man of distinction, someone with a clear sense of purpose and willing to stand in the face of adversity.”  Since her husband has been locked up Lisa Claiborne had an emergency meeting a week ago with the few members they have at their local mission to pack up and the church has been shut down!
Claiborne has additional court dates this month in other North Carolina counties, including one on April 11 in Mecklenburg County for a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and on April 19 in Lenoir County for speeding.  Obnoxious Media has been looking into the charge in Charlotte to be sure he has not done something inappropriate with a minor.  It was during our last story on the Claiborne’s we discovered one of the models in the fashion show wearing extremely provocative outfits was only sixteen-years-old.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……In the mist of his very serious marital issues Chris Hill has officially resigned as the pastor of Potter’s House Denver.  Obnoxious Media broke the story about a month ago that  Chris was having an affair with an alleged spiritual daughter of his wife Joy.  However, this was not the first time Chris has cheated with a woman he pastored.  Eight years ago Chris and Joy went through the same issue.  Unfortunately the two of them cannot restore their tumultuous marriage and will be legally separated.  When you read something hear on Obnoxious you can take it to the bank.  Constantly stories are broke here first and later followed up with official statements by the subject of our post that what we reported is accurate.  

 Chris Hill has to be dumb and stupid to mess up a gold mine over a cheap whore.   This guy is a total and complete sleaze bag that he could not get his flesh under subjection to save his family and livelihood.  Jakes might have to go in there to save his church himself.  It seems they will have members of his circle fly in to preach services until he places a new pastor.  All of Jakes sons and daughters are jumping at the chance to have him smile on them and place them in that ready made mega church.  Jakes is able to dangle a golden carrot in the faces of his entire crew, but who will be man or woman enough to get it?

 Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Investigators with the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Postal Service served a search warrant Wednesday at the Grapevine offices of televangelist Benny Hinn.

A large number of agents walked in and out of the offices with boxes, KXAS-TV (NBC5) reported, but officials wouldn’t confirm to the TV station what they’re investigating or whether they’re looking into Hinn.

A woman who answered the phone for the Benny Hinn Ministries headquarters said she had no information.

 Hinn was the subject of a 2007 U.S. Senate inquiry that looked into the spending of six televangelists. Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, questioned the personal use of church-owned airplanes, luxury homes and credit cards by pastors and their families, but there was no definitive finding of wrongdoing when the investigation ended in 2011.

At the time, Hinn’s ministry said it complied with tax regulations for religious nonprofits. But it told Grassley that it had made changes in how it governs its ministry and sets compensation.

Several media outlets have investigated Hinn, a well-known pastor from Israel who claims that God uses him to miraculously heal people who are sick. He calls it “the anointing.”

He’s been accused of being a con man and criticized for living extravagantly — flying in a private plane and staying in fancy hotels.

“I think if I was fooling the people, over 35 years of it now, I would have been caught already fooling them,” he told ABC’s Nightline in a 2009 interview.

He told the news program at the time that his salary was more than $500,000, but he wouldn’t give an exact figure.

Hinn at one time was very close to Manessah Jordan, who he purchased a very expensive watch for some years back.  Bishop Bernard Jordan was very upset about the expense gift and wanted his son to give it back.  Not sure what cause Manessah and Hinn to part ways, but when the two of them did Hinn started using Brian Carn.  The rumor is Manessah practically collapsed Hinn’s ministry and took his staff and mailing list when they had an ugly falling out.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……I was one of those preachers’ wives who sat in the pew on many a Sunday morning while my “real” life was a fraud. I discovered several years into my marriage that my husband was cheating on me–with men–numerous men. (And women too, I later found out). But I stayed. I stayed through the broken promises and the humiliation because I believed and hoped that things got better. I watched my husband stand in that pulpit on Sunday morning, preaching one message and living out yet another. I needed answers.
The first place I turned to for answers were God. I prayed. I wept. I prayed. I wept. I prayed and I wept. God woke me at 3 a.m. I sat straight up in the middle of my bed. … What did Jesus really say about homosexuality? What was Jesus’ message about gays?
I prayed my entire young life for God to send me a husband–God Always answers my prayers–why did I end up marrying a gay man?

Calvary Missionay Baptist Church on 23rd Avenue.  The model black first family, handsome pastor with the beautiful wife that could sing and their three boys.  Meredith opened up for for interviews, some stories are difficult to report when you know the subjects well, I found it strange that Lydia seemed tolerate Dennis bullcrap and always got the short end of the stick. I was familiar with the recent and highly publicized scandal at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church where their leader Bishop Eddie Long in 2010 was accused in a lawsuit of buying young men lavish gifts and cars, and giving them money in exchange for sex.

But her story was no mystery to me. It wasn’t that I doubted her credibility. It was more of a shock that she was so gracious to a man who betrayed her and her family, and she kept quiet.  Dennis began to transform before our very eyes in Oakland.  He got braces, cut his George Jefferson like Afro that he loosing to go bald, and began to workout.  Rumors were all over the Bay Area that Dennis was riding a motorcycle with no shirt and hanging in San Francisco.  In those early days he was still very much a PJD (Pineapple Juice Drinker Obnoxious Media’s word for on the Down Low) and living a double life.  Now rumor had it that the Merdiths left Mt. Calvery in the mist of scandal, but Dennis during a past interview said that was not true.  
The pastor later resurfaced in Atlanta, which might just have been the worst thing that could have ever happened to this family.  Dennis began the pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church after some major issues with substance abuse of their former pastor now bishop, Quincey Lavell Carswell.  After some years of great effort Dennis was able to revive Tabernacle, but some things strange was happening with the congregation.  More and more openly gay people began to join the church and more rumors were surfacing about Dennis until it became common knowledge he was sexing men more then his wife.

“I loved my husband … I still love him,” she tells me as I stare in amazement.
In 2006, Rev. Meredith told Lydia he was in love with another man. “He left me for another man. He told me he wanted to live the rest of his life as a gay man,” she shares. “At that time, I didn’t know he was in a relationship with a man, a man that he’d fallen in love with. Most of the time when we were in therapy discussing his struggles with same-sex relationships, it was never a relationship; it was always [just] sex. This particular time it was very different. He had fallen in love with a man.”
Dennis first began his journey to coming out by telling his congregation he was molested as a child and had been sexually active with men and women.  In fact he told his church he was bi-sexual.  Funny how it seems bi-sexual is easier for people to except than just saying you are gay.  

It was a revelation that was years in the making. Lydia knew of her husband’s infidelity and bisexuality, but it wasn’t enough to make her leave him and break up her family.
The infidelity alone wasn’t enough to make her leave her husband. Lydia wanted her marriage to survive the infidelity. It wasn’t until he left her from 2005 to 2008 that she filed for divorce. He had abandoned her. She was left with no other choice but to wake up and start a new journey. “I filed for divorce. He wasn’t happy about it. The infidelity didn’t cause me to leave my marriage. I felt there was nothing in my marriage that couldn’t be fixed.”
I had in fact interviewed Dennis after he came out so strong aganist Eddie Long, I realized Dennis was solid individual with a profound understanding of the teachings of the Bible, but did the easy thing to live a lie, he was gay yur hold time and tried to hide with a wife and children.  No way Dennis could be gay he is so masculine and married with children.  However, he shared with me how he traveled and preached for so many men that was just like him.  Many of his engagements were nothing, but sexual hookups all over the country at the expense of the churches he visited.  Dennis developed a reputation to know what to do in the bedroom and being who he was and looking the way he did many guys wanted their opportunity to sex Pastor Merdith and it did not seem he had a problem giving the boys what they wanted.  Dennis in conclusion deserves a great deal of respect for being honest and condemning him is not our goal.

Lydia, who has managed to step outside the box of pain and see things from a different perspective rooted in love, says she is telling her story not only for women, but also for men: “to inspire people to walk in truth and lead to a deeper understanding and loving relationship with God.”
Perhaps it was the threat of a past church employee that Dennis Merdith was forced to come out of the closet or it may have just been that he stood on his convictions.  However, it is amazing that he is carsmatic enough leader to have held his church throughout all of his life transformations.  Now he has a first gentleman and a gay church.  A few years back at the Rythem Of Gospel Awards Dennis shared at the pastors appreaction gala tha he lost all his friends after he came out.  He testified that his greatest opposition was from all the men that were just like him, but choose to continue to live a lie.

I trusted my husband,” Lydia Meredith reveals during an interview to promote her book. She recently penned a deeply personal memoir, The Gay Preacher’s Wife: How My Gay Husband Deconstructed My Life and Reconstructed My Faith.

 Lydia was married to the Rev. Dennis A. Meredith, who is now an openly gay pastor and leading a congregation of over 1K members —predominantly lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender. She and the pastor divorced in 2008, but remain close friends despite the fact that they struggled with his infidelity during their marriage.
“I want to share some topics that I feel need to be addressed for women who find themselves in situations like I found myself in and to help them and to show them they can get through it,” said Meredith, who admits it has taken years for her to heal since her husband abandoned her and left her for a man.
“I wasn’t paying attention because I am a recovering workaholic,” she defends. Lydia lived in a state of denial even though her husband was arrested for soliciting sex with a man, and sought a fellow minister to bail him out, never calling her.
Lydia wears many hats. She is the founder of Beacon of Hope Inc. – Renaissance Learning Center, with a mission to strengthen families and communities and lift poor children and their families out of poverty. Lydia has master degrees in business, Christian education, and public policy from Vanderbilt University, The Interdenominational Theological Center, and Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, respectively.
When asked if she missed all the signs that her former husband is gay, she said, “Yes, I miss[ed] them. I am not a tracker. There are some women who are investigators, who will pick up the phone if their [mate] is not home at a certain time and if they are not calling. That’s a problem. I am a professional woman working as a senior engineer for a Fortune 500 company. I was living my life, married with three children.”
While she was living her life, she also missed the signs that her middle son, who was the minister of music at the church where his father ministers, is also gay and came out to the church and revealed his HIV status.

Lydia emphasizes, “The church needs a new kind of ministry–one steeped in the ministry started by Jesus–free of bias, discrimination, hate or prejudice.
Now The Merdiths lives might be seen by the world due to Mark Couch working to produce a reality show about the dysfunctional first family.  In the long run no one seems to have gotten what they wanted except for Dennis even at the cost of destroying his family.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God meets Drug Dealers And Killers Strike Again……Pastor David Stephens is the embattled leader of the Greater Bellevue Baptist Church in Macon, GA. The church has been divided for several years over his leadership. On multiple occasions, church leaders have sought his resignation or termination, to no avail.

Tonight’s (Monday’s) meeting had been called with the purpose of deciding if the members wanted the pastor to remain. The divisions are so incredibly deep that bedlam broke out. Fist fights, profanity and chaos led to local police being called to the church campus. The meeting was suspended by law enforcement.

Plus it has been discovered by Obnoxious Media that Pastor David Stephens is not a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. as he claims.  In a picture above you see him preaching in a purple and gold BowTie, the colors of the fraternity.

The pastor is sleeping around on his wife and he was counseling this couple that was having problems in there marriage and he secretly was texting the lady, well the husband found out and took the wife’s phone and was texting the pastor like he was her and when the pastor showed up at the house the man pulled out a gun on him… he really wasn’t an omega and the people came to the church one Sunday more and stripped him of all this that had to do with being an omega ! He also was getting gang members from fair street in Macon to come to the meeting last night to vote for him.. the fight broke out last night because somebody called the pastor out about sleeping around on his wife and the pastor came an attacked him.. the pastor and the First Lady are living together but not together and the pastor is seeing someone else…
