Obnoxious Media regrets to inform you that Bishop Quincy Lavelle Carswell has died at 67 due to complications from a massive stroke.
It is with great sadness that we must say goodbye to a man who has meant so much to Metro Atlanta.
Bishop Quincy Lavell Carswell, the Senior Pastor at The Covenant Church in Atlanta, passed away on January 11, 2020, at the age of 66-years-old.
Considered by many to be one of the greatest pastors in America, Bishop Carswell has been a dear friend to District Attorney Paul Howard, Jr. for many years. In fact, Bishop Carswell’s son Quincy works in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office as a member of the Victim-Witness Advocate Program.
We will certainly miss Bishop Carswell, and our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the Carswell Family during this difficult time.
He fought a good fight, finished his course, and kept the faith, and now he rests in the arms of the Master. We rejoice in sadness for the life of Bishop Quincy Lavelle Carswell. Service information will be forthcoming. Please allow the family time to share together. Updates to the public will be made via Facebook.com/thecovenantatl
