Obnoxious Media regrets to inform you the passing of Bishop Benard N. Bragg, The Presiding Bishop of the Beth-El Churches of Christ founded by the late Bishop Robert Evans. It seems he passed away as a result of a heart attack on his way to speak at the Joint College of Bishops that met in Cleveland, Ohio, to our understanding there was another bishop riding with him that is in the hospital recovering. The Joint College has released an official statement that can be found on their website. Additionally, Bishop Jesse Daleno Ellis was in another car accident with another bishop and his car was posted posted on social media. Not long ago he had another car wreck that was another close call.

His spiritual metamorphosis began on December 23, 1973, at which time he began his years of spiritual training and growth. This was accomplished under the guidance of his pastor, spiritual father and mentor– Apostle Robert Evans, Jr., Establishmentarian of the Beth-El Churches of Christ.
Bishop Bragg was ordained in ministry on October 18, 1986. He served as the General Secretary and a member of the Executive Board for the Beth-El Churches.
