The fight foolery between Bow Wow and his girlfriend Kiyomi Leslie has taken a curious new turn as former basketball player Shaquille O’Neal has been added to the mix and named as the reason behind why the rapper and the reality TV star fought each other over the weekend.

As we previously reported, early Saturday morning in Atlanta, rapper/actor Bow Wow (born Shad Moss) was arrested for allegedly beating Leslie who was also arrested for allegedly beating him too. Both sustained visible, minor injuries.

Police couldn’t figure out which one was the true (or first) aggressor, so they cuffed both and charged them with misdemeanor battery.

Bow released a statement saying that the fight started after he took issue with Holden being too friendly with another man while they were out partying at a nightclub in Atlanta. We now know that the other man was Shaq, who reportedly held a Super Bowl event called “Shaq’s Fun House” at his home. According to reports, the couple was in attendance at the bash, and Shad’s attorney released a statement about what went down to cause the fight.

“Mr. Moss stated that he felt very disrespected by her behavior, that the argument became heated, that Ms. Holden started yelling loudly and calling him ‘b***h a** n****r,’ ” his attorney, Joe S. Habachy, said in a statement.

Both Bow Wow and Leslie were arrested on February 2 and charged with battery following the altercation. According to a police report, Leslie claimed the rap star “hit her in the head, pulled her by the hair, dragged her from her bedroom… and told her to get the hell out.” She allegedly suffered three broken ribs during the fight.

Meanwhile, Moss claims he was the actual victim of the assault, not Leslie, who he says scratched up his face and threw a lamp that fortunately missed him. His attorney additionally claimed that the “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta” star “bit him on his side and spit on him while Bow Wow continually made effort to avoid her.”

The case is still ongoing.
