You’d be hard-pressed to find a topic Donald Trump hasn’t yet offered his opinion about on Twitter — so when Tracee Ellis Ross took home the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV Comedy on Sunday night, it didn’t take long for the internet to unearth the president-elect’s thoughts on her show, Black-ish
Reportedly first rediscovered by Dave Itzkhoff, the 2014 tweet from Trump reads, “How is ABC Television allowed to have a show entitled ‘Blackish’? Can you imagine the furor of a show, ‘Whiteish’! Racism at highest level?”
Unsurprisingly, many were quick to offer up a slew of responses to the tweet — and at the time, many pointed out that a TV show being named Black-ish is most definitely not an example of “racism at highest level.”
