Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Higher Living Christian Church in Hampton is in foreclosure and evicted. Andre and his members got put out before Christmas!
Georgia megachurch that reportedly boasted a 10,000-member congregation in its heyday was booted from its lavish 4,000-seat sanctuary ahead of Christmas by the Evangelical Christian Credit Union over a debt of nearly $22 million.
A notice of sale published in the Henry Herald last Wednesday revealed that the building housing the Higher Living Christian Church in McDonough, Georgia, will be sold by the Evangelical Christian Credit Union at a public auction on Jan. 3, 2017, to the “highest bidder for cash” to recover a debt of $21,569,133.97.
Not sure what to make of this stunning development but Bishop Eddie Long disciple Pastor Andre Landers had his $22 million Higher Living Christian Mega Church at 2455 Mount Carmel Road Hampton placed in foreclosure by the bank. The Sheriff’s department recently padlocked the church and evicted them from the premises according to our source. Higher Living, the former New Birth South, was indeed a mega church claiming some 10,000 members on the rolls at its height.
In recent years a source says rumors of an extra-marital affair rocked the congregation. Our source relays the Pastor was alleged to have had an affair contributing to a divorce from the First Lady as she successfully battled cancer. In a twist Pastor Landers then remarries and makes his new wife the first lady of HLCC, seemingly the last straw as member numbers dwindle over the years, our source continues. As a follower of the former Mrs. Landers, First Lady from day one of the ministry, our source says she shares cryptic messages publicly on her social media account detailing her struggle and pain with the situation. Heart breaking yet another former church member adds, saying the detail is painful.
An elderly HLCC member who did not want to be identified, stated she left the church after Pastor Landers installed his new wife as First Lady and the repeated over the top daily pictures of the couple further aggravating the situation, it just did not seem right. This week’s developments further detail the fall of this once great mega church that served the community after beginning in a home and movie theater setting as the first service to 10,000 plus members and two campuses, Jonesboro and Hampton.
Pastor Landers has indicated via social media plans to start a new IThrive Church in Riverdale in 2017. Landers abruptly announced a temporary location for his Christmas service at Tabernacle of Praise Church in McDonough, leaving many members in the dark. The Pastor’s Club is a closed knit community where no one dare speak out about such developments. I personally pray for healing for all involved as a former member of New Birth South and Higher Living, leaving HLCC in 2012.

Everything Is Going Down But The Word Of God……It was brought to my attention last week by a member of the of my Obnoxious Street Committee, whose mother is actually a member of Higher Dimensions Christian Church. The church that was formally known as New Birth South pastored by Andre Landers. Andre did have the smarts to get away from his Spiritual Father Bishop Trick Daddy Young Boy Booty Licking Eddie Lee Long Well too shocking disbelief last Sunday Pastor Landers (and we use that term very loosely) announced to the church that he was divorcing his wife, who is battling stage 4 cancer!
According snitches that are members of the church and confirmed by the mother of a member of my Obnoxious Street Committee, the rumors have been flying that Andre and a Elder Shaw, a female, have been to close for comfort since the wife has been ill.
Now it was said that some of the members of the Higher Living Christian Church security detail did not allow Elder Shaw to enter the building for service. It seems that not everyone is pleased with Andre’s decision to leave his wife especially not at this time. No word on how true this is due to calls to the church and Pastor Andre Landers have not been returned. As of late Andre has been sporting a new bald head. A new look for his new single life

And she is said to have had a double mastectomy back in 2011 or 2012.

Yup. She wouldn’t come to church for a looooonnnngggg time, for months on end, then she showed up with a wig and it good spirits.
What does Elder Shaw look like? I remember thinking that he was with a light skin chick at the church that was also an elder and now she has a ministry
