It is so sad to learn that someone has passed and it is even worst when the family has to pass the hat to bury their loved one. I was shocked to learn via Facebook that a reader of my blog had passed. Mehran Chestnut was a sever at one of my favorite restaurants Cheesecake Bistro and he was sure to let me know he was a fan and a follower of my blog. I laughed and told him that I would have to give him a little more on his tip since he read my blog. Our paths crossed again at a taping of a Reality Show that never really got off the ground.
It is so sad to learn that this young brother passed due to a grand mal seizure. According to post on his Facebook page he had 32 seizures due to being stressed out from not having a job or a place to stay. However, what is most surprising is that he was in the adult entertainment industry, but must not have been making very much money. Let this be a lesson to us to reach out and assit our friends and family when they are in need.
Atlanta is full of people that are chasing their dreams to make it big and sometimes in the process they face difficult days. If you have it help someone rather then get on the phone and gossip and talk about them because you never know when it can be the last time you see them alive. Now many will most likely be critical or mad about this post, but I really do not care. This young brother life is gone and he will be or was cremated and will not even have a memorial service for his friends to come out and celebrate his life. This is without question a sad state of affairs. Next time you hear of someone in need open your doors because you might actually save a frieds life. Everyone is on his Social Media pages saying how sorrowful they are, but where were they when he was alive and calling out for help. Mehran posted asking for help with a ride to work or who lived near public transit and simple request of assistance, but now he is gone.
This adult entertainment busy must not be all it is cracked up to be if he landed in this type of shape and they will still make money off his performances even though he is dead and gone. Let this be a wake up call to the living to look out and support each other when times are tough.
